and accounts

John, Andy, and Jedd call upon the major accounts in the entire territory. Bryan Plenzler covers Michigan; Joe Nieminski maintains accounts in Illinois along with Shane Tulowitzky who also calls on Wisconsin and Illinois. Tim Petersen and David Moore have accounts in Minnesota and Wisconsin, Brian Olmstead has W. Minnesota and North & South Dakota. Jedd Culler also has account responsibility in Indiana, while Matt Edwards works E. Ohio, and key customers in New York State. Rob Abers covers Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. Kevin McKinney maintains New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Mark Palinsky covers Michigan and W. Ohio customers. Aaron Overstreet has account responsibilities in Indiana, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania.

The team is kept abreast of the monthly sales performance and sales of each account per factory for year to date, last year to date and total last year sales. There is planning, review and follow-up to unleash energy and execute sound strategies for results.

Promotional Marketing Strategy

Committing to vigorous support for the sporting goods industry, Wellman Sports Marketing launches programs each quarter to capture the imagination of everyone - all ages from the young to the well-seasoned to generate love of the sport and to share the excitement.

Through local fishing programs for kids at the well attended/covered Minneapolis Aquatennial, to donating merchandise and presenting seminars at local fishing and hunting clubs. Wellman Sports Marketing brings a strong presence at the Chicago, Minneapolis, Duluth, Indianapolis, and Grand Rapids, MI Sports Shows. Wellman Sports Marketing participates in the Outdoor Writers Association, which promotes new products and provides a leading advertising agency with necessary technical product information and contributing to the national and local dealers "Take a Kid Fishing" Program.
